Medalist™
The Medalist suite of tools offer key functionality for automating workflow through the Loanet
and Global One systems while managing order flow and keeping track of inventory - the supply
and demand [offers and needs] of dealing partners.
It monitors official SRO Threshold lists. Tools are available to document the
Affirmative Determination process linking short-sale locate requests directly to available supply for
compliance with Regulation SHO. In addition, the system is capable of generating a rules-based
Easy Borrow list for further compliance with Reg SHO.
The Technology
Based on the Microsoft® .NET Framework, server components are designed to run on
the Windows Server 2003 platform while client components work best under Windows XP and/or while running in
Internet Explorer. The server components may be hosted in your data center or ours.
The database requred is Microsoft® SQL Server. There is an interface to
Microsoft® Outlook to enable
the ready exchange of e-mails that may contain lists of offers and needs - both yours and those of your
dealing partners.
History
v1.1 is in production at two client sites in North America.
v1.2 is to release on 20 January 2006.
v2.0 is scheduled for release at end of Q1 2006 [will require the .NET Framework version 2.0].
